Jake Mahar is a native of Lake Oswego, Oregon and is a new addition to the team at Walton Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.

Jake has two Bachelors Degrees from the University of Denver in Molecular Biology and Sociology. He also has a Masters Degree in Sociology, specifically in psychosocial/gender development where he focused on the development of athletes and how they cope with career-ending injuries.

Jake has worked with a diverse group from debilitated youths to professional athletes. He is most interested in sport-specific injury prevention/rehabilitation with an emphasis on biomechanical analysis and micro-nutritional development.
